This damage causes the build up of scar tissue and reduced oxygenation. Less oxygen means your muscles can’t move as easily, take more effort, and seem to hurt all of the time.

Massage breaks apart scar tissue, stretches tight muscles, and improves blood flow. All of this means you can move further and faster with less pain and stiffness.
